Function:
Responsible for the management and oversight of large scale projects from inception to conclusion that reside within the PMO, as well as assist and support PMs in ancillary lines of business with adherence to methodologies established by the PMO. Responsibilities:
Works directly with business line(s) management and staff impacted by or benefiting from the project, following PMO guidelines and standards. Assist the business lines to analyze how the project and/or system implementation improves business processes and supports critical business strategies. Plans and coordinates project using PMO guidelines and standards. Support the project participants by facilitating project logistics such as meetings and team and management communications of varied methods, as well as the development of formal presentations regarding the project. Maintain and track action items and performs follow-up for resolution. Create and perform presentations to Executive Management or Project Executive Sponsors. Responsible for maintaining vendor relationships associated with projects and services by acting as the liaison between the bank and the vendor on all communications and activities. Responsible to interface with internal audit, external auditing consultants as needed to provide appropriate and up to date documentation as requested. Act as the primary liaison to Risk Management, Compliance and Audit entities. Responsible for proactively maintaining/adding/updating necessary controls, as needed. Work directly with the SOX Manager on updates or additions to these controls. Maintain department Project Management templates as to meet standard Project Methodology according to PMBOK standards. Consult and mentor end users in Project Management in order to develop skills and knowledge with the use of standard Project Methodology and the use of department Project Management templates. Participate on necessary committees or applicable task forces involved with project implementation, or business analytics, SOX, compliance, GLBA, and audit controls. Prepare and present to senior management recommendations regarding departmental and division action plans, strategic plan and department budget. Maintains a good working relationship with all bank employees. Demonstrates the ability to work independently. Works as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and in turn the organization. Assumes additional duties as required. Physical Demands Operates a keypad device:
70% of the day. The primary parts of the body involved in performing these tasks are fingers, thumbs, hands, wrists, elbows. Standing is required 15% of the day; sitting is required 83% of the day; walking is required 2% of the day. Requires the use of manual dexterity skills for typing up to 40% of the business day. Qualifications Education Required Bachelors or better in Business Administration or related field. Experience Required 10 years:
Requires ten plus years of experience, with specialized experience in the field of Project Management required. Two to five years of Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) experience preferred. Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
