In each case the Life Skills Counselor will assure that services to children and families are individualized, strengths and needs based, culturally sensitive and responsive, and goal driven.
This position requires local travel and flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule in a high-demand work situation.
This position is based in Chester County PA.
Essential Responsibilities Use assessment tools to provide comprehensive information for a treatment plan and assess risk factors related to safety and well-being of all family members.
To help clients make positive changes in their lives by teaching a variety of life skills and behavior management techniques through individual coaching, mentoring, education, and advocacy.
Work with team members to develop a treatment plan utilizing specific measurable goals, objectives and timeframes.

Monitor and report family progress in order to evaluate and reform goals and objectives, as necessary.
Provide advocacy for family to outside agencies The Life Skills Counselor will collaborate with internal and external team members to develop and maintain good working relationships.
To assure adherence to quality standards and compliance thorough completion of all paperwork in a timely and professional manner and maintaining flexibility and creativity in working a flexible schedule to accommodate the family, Professional growth and development.
Assure documentation and record keeping compliance.
QualificationsClearances.
State Police; FBI clearance; child abuse clearance; CPSL Mandated Reporter-Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse training; any additional background checks/clearances required by state governing bodies.
Valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance.
Working Conditions Physical Demands:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
