POSITION
Summary:
The position facilitates to the flow of organization information as an integral part of the hospital team.
Answer and direct incoming facility calls.
Records and routes telephone and in-person messages accurately, completely, and promptly.
Takes a proactive role in resolving any patient/customer service complaints.
Independently identifies concerns in stressful situations to offer assistance in a calm demeanor.
Time is consistently managed effectively to regularly volunteer for additional assignments to provide additional clerical support.
Assists in taking Intake calls when Intake staff is unavailable.
Provides assistance in the completion of patient's pre-assessment paperwork, as needed.
Respects confidentiality at all times; follows HIPAA guidelines for disclosing information.
Maintains an accurate record of patients seen each day, personal belongings dropped off, visitation logs, etc.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of healthcare setting.
Knowledge of general office machines, including computers and Microsoft Office programs Excellent customer service, communication and problem solving skills.
EDUCATION:
