We are currently looking for a hard-working person with horse experience to join our horse care team in a full-time capacity.
Previous horse experience does not need to be from paid position.
Daily duties include:
Support of horse care, including turn in/out, feed & water, mucking stalls, cleaning barn and tending to basic needs of ponies (grooming, tacking, first aid, administering shots, holding for vet/farrier) General barn and property maintenance Coordinate and oversee volunteers and support staff Exercise and maintain horse soundness and fitness Horse handling during therapy sessions Tractor and equipment operation a plus Natural horsemanship experience a plus This position includes morning, evening & possibly weekend hours.
Weekly schedule may be flexible for the right candidate.
This is a full-time position with competitive pay, employer subsidized health care, employer funded dental and a 403b with matching.
Housing is not available.
