At check- in you will greet and check-in patients, get patient information, collect payments, assist with necessary paperwork, and fulfill other customer service or administrative duties.
Check-out you will be responsible for completing the tasks as a doctor request with scheduling and completing forms for testing and procedures.
Assist with patient flow and HIPPA.
Obtain and submit for prior authorizations (to that team) and all forms that go with these steps.
You would be the key person for scheduling the next appointments and making sure the patient has what they need to seen in the office after all testing and requests are made for a follow-up appointment.
Ability to work both independently and in a team.
Ability to sit in front of computer as required.
Demonstrated commitment to professional development.
Able to work flexible hours.
Being pleasant and personable over the phone as well as in person required.
Our patients are important to us and we treat them like family.
The hours for this position are Monday through Thursday 8:
30 to 5:
30 and Friday 8:
30 to 3:
30 ( we are done at 2 most Fridays but scheduled till 3:
30.
) Wednesdays you could be asked to travel to the Glenn Mils location for 1/2 day on occasion.
