Volt is searching for several RF Repair Technicians to support a key client, located in West Chester, PA.

There are three shifts available:

  • 1st shift:
    7:
    00am 3:
    00pm (Monday Friday)
  • 2nd shift:
    3:
    30pm 11:
    30pm (Monday Friday)
  • 3rd shift:
    11:
    00pm 7:
    00am (Sunday Thursday)

As an RF Repair Technician, you will provide services to the country s largest wireless telecommunications providers, as well as the largest High-speed Internet and Cable providers. The Repair Technician will perform component level troubleshooting and repair on industry leading wireless infrastructure and edge computing technologies. Numerous opportunities exist for technical troubleshooting and repair on wireless Radio Access Network (RAN) equipment such as remote radio heads, Massive MIMO, Integrated radio/antenna, as well as edge computing digital circuits and computing hardware, baseband technologies, etc. You will utilize soldering equipment to repair, modify, and change parts on electronic circuit boards and 5G Radio Access Network (RAN) equipment. This is working in a repair production facility, not a diagnostic facility.

  • Test, troubleshoot, and repair RF circuit boards used in RAN equipment.
  • Troubleshoot to the component level.
  • Work with Remote Radio Head (RRH) engineering team, interacting closely with engineers and technicians.
  • Use network analyzers to gather RF data for reports in the support of RRH product development.
  • Read and work from schematics.
  • Run PIM (Passive Intermodulation) test equipment to troubleshoot and repair antenna prototypes.
  • Maintain satisfactory Quality performance levels.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work station.
  • Train and/or assist other Technicians in aspects of repair.

This is a full-time, contingent opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3 or more years of experience in component level/bench level troubleshooting of RF circuit boards on RAN equipment
  • RAN and RF knowledge
  • Soldering experience
  • Ability to use electronic testing tools signal generator, spectrum analyzer, etc.
  • Experience working on antennas PCB, component level repair (not cell phone related)

Pay Rate:
$35.00-$40.00 per hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
