Operations/Office Manager

West Chester, PA- Local logistics company has a direct hire opening for an Operations/Office Manager for their small office in West Chester. This person will be responsible for managing all office functions, managing a staff of 3 people, as well as tracking and confirming shipments, communicating with international agents and warehouses, ensuring shipments are arriving on time and trouble shooting if they are not, verifying invoices and accuracy, and tracking that each port is prepared for arrival of shipment. In addition they will be the main point of contact for all vendors (marketing, office supplies, etc.), as well as tracking employee PTO, communicating with healthcare benefits company, and handling all employee relations issues. Must be comfortable going through a 3-6 month training process in the office, as well as traveling internationally twice per year. Ideal candidate will have 5 years of operations experience in an office setting.
Hours= Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
Salary= $75,000-$85,000

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree
- Min. 5 year's operations experience in an office setting
- Experience managing at least 2 employees
- Knowledge of the logistics/transportation industry A PLUS
- Proficient in a business process management software
- Proficient in Salesforce or other CRM program preferred but not required
- Experience working in a small office environment
