Position
Summary:
-Assist Drivers by taking calls and providing direction for notations on delivery receipts
-Log exceptions into the Pyle system
-Obtain disposition on OS&D related shipments
-Assist Pyle internal Customers
-Provide timely resolution on OS&D related matters to Customers
-Perform OS&D Terminal Inspections on damaged shipments
-Upload pictures into the imaging system
-Transmit exception reports to Customers
-Apply and remove hold codes
-Follow up on shipments until resolved
-Manage UN/NF reports and do necessary research
Requirements
-Knowledge of dock operations; either inbound or outbound desired
-Problem solving skills
-Excellent organizational skills and follow through
-Excellent listening skills
-Good, professional communication skills; verbally and via email
-Professional phone etiquette
-Good common sense
-Ability to comprehend standard concepts, practices, policies and procedures
-Computer skills: MS office and Pyle system
