Summary:
The HR Business Partner's primary responsibility is to provide strategic human resources solutions to an assigned client group within the organization by developing a deep understanding of the clients' business/service needs. This individual will provide effective solutions for recruitment, employee relations, performance management, talent management, compliance reporting, compensation planning, for multi site division.
DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Mentor functional leaders through core HR programs (e.g. New hire orientation, performance management, compensation planning, talent management, etc.)
Advocate the Company's people philosophy
Conduct training, both WebEx and classroom
Provide relevant data and recommendations to guide decision-making related to compensation, org structure, attrition, promotions and other activities
Assist with recruitment efforts ranging from candidate interview to onboarding
Provide consultation and support to managers on employee relations issues and applicable company policies and employment laws. Ensures compliance with local, state and federal employment laws and regulations. Conduct thorough and effective investigations for employment related claims
Partner with business leaders to understand current and future needs. Participate meaningfully in the creation of business strategies and provide relevant HR insights and solutions to business challenges
Expert knowledge of all federal, state and local laws including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, ADA, FMLA, ADEA, FLSA and EEO regulations
Identify and work on efficiencies through systems and process improvements
Review reports to determine accuracy of employee data including new employee information and tracking and updating existing employee changes
Effectively partner with International HR team members to execute strategies and initiatives globally, as needed
Create, execute and audit HR reports as necessary
Manage the communication of HR policies, procedures and practices to ensure sound leadership application and legal compliance
Lead or participate in process improvements efforts
Perform other duties as assigned
Must be able to travel 30%
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business
Experience working with and supporting executive and management level partners, including consulting on employee relations, leadership development, change management, and related strategies
Strategic thinking focus on critical areas of strategic contribution and translate these into appropriate management and HR actions; demonstrated proactive value add leadership in HR Business partner role
Self-starter with a positive, can-do, professional approach; ability to work effectively at all levels within the organization, often involving difficult or conflict situation
Strong computer-based competency, including Microsoft Suite applications (i.e., Word, Outlook and Excel) is required
Ability to learn and effectively executive various HR system tools.
Ability to address issues constructively by providing independent, objective and courageous advice
HR expert strong HR expertise and knowledge in HR technical areas to increase organizational performance
This position requires use of information which is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
